How to use Neumorphism without alienating your users
Neumorphism is a design trend that has been discussed and written about since the tail end of 2019 but, so far, it seems to be a trend that exists pretty much exclusively on Dribbble. It has been sitting with me since writing my trends post back in February because it’s just well… too pretty to ignore. At previous events the focus has been more on development and engineering so I was very happy to attend a couple of workshops and talks this year that highlighted the importance of user-centred design.
Women of Silicon Roundabout 2016 - The highlights
In October some of the ladies from TheTin went to the Women of Silicon Roundabout event in Kings Cross.
What the heck is accessibility?!
With more and more aspects of our daily lives happening on screen, it’s never been more important as designers to make sure all of the content we create takes into account the needs of as many users as possible.
